Today our WOD is remembering what happened on this day 16 years ago.

Teams of 2 – For Time:

As a team, complete 2977 meter Row (total lives lost)
One team member rowing at a time, other partner is in a hollow hold. You can only row while partner is in position, when they come out of the hollow hold you must stop rowing and switch (so row hard!)

You will stop at the following intervals and each will complete:
9 KBS (70/53) and 11 Push Ups (45/25 on your back)

175m – represents flight 175 that hit the South Tower
343m – represents the number of firefighters and paramedics that died
846m – represents the time the first tower was struck
1028m – represents the time the North Tower fell
2001m – represents the year of the attack

Box News:
– There will be a new strength cycle up on the back board! Tuesday at 6:15pm will be coach led and the rest will be done on your own time. Grab a coach and ask questions if you aren’t sure about a movement.

– Our first Elements class starts tonight! This is a beginners course and a great way to learn the movements and get comfortable in a class setting. The course is 3 weeks long, starting today, September 11 and running through September 28. Classes will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 7:15 pm. The cost is $40 OR if you sign up with a friend you’ll both get a $5 discount and it’ll only be $35 each for the course.
